Ed Pokraka is the Director of Information Technology Services (ITS) for the University of Saskatchewan and represents the U of S on the SRnet Board.
Carol Klassen is the Vice President of Knowledge and Technology Services for the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region. In this capacity Carol is responsible for Information Technology, Communications, and Research among other duties. Carol represents the health sector on the SRnet Board.
Toby Greschner is the Chair of the SRnet Board.
Toby is the Assistant Deputy Minister of Northern Affairs in the Saskatchewan Department of First Nations and Metis Relations. Toby represents the north in general and LaRonge in particular on the SRnet Board.
Trevor Cross joined the SRNet board in December of 2010. Trevor is the Director, Information Technology for Innovation Place. His portfolio includes the development and operation of the IT infrastructure at the research parks on the campuses of the province’s universities in Saskatoon and Regina, and through the forest sector building in Prince Albert. Trevor has worked in the IT sector since the early 90’s and has experience in both the public and private sectors in Saskatchewan.

Mr. Kostiuk, the SRnet Finance Committee Chair, is also the Head of Connected Media Research and Development at TRLabs. He is an alumni of both the University of Saskatchewan and Queen's University, and has worked extensively in the communications and ICT industry over the years. Dr. Benedicenti is the University of Regina's representative on the SRnet Board.
He is currently the Associate Vice-President (Academic) at University of Regina and is active as a Board member at SaskInteractive and a Board Member at SpringBoard West Innovations.
Mr. Woodward is both a Board Member of SRnet and the Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Bio Energy Management. Born in Saskatchewan, he holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Regina and an M.A. in Geography from the University of Miami.
David Katz has worked in the area of economic development for the province of Saskatchewan for the past 20 years. For many of those years he was Sector Manager responsible for the growth of the Information and Communication Technologies sector, and then held the position of Acting Director, Innovation and Advanced Technology Sectors at Enterprise Saskatchewan.
David is now Acting Director within the newly created Innovation Saskatchewan (IS). In that role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of IS, as well as being responsible for research co‑ordination, and both joint federal-provincial and interprovincial innovation initiatives. He has worked on Innovation Policy for the province for four years, including being lead author of the “Saskatchewan Framework for an Innovation Economy.”
David originally started in government as Manager of Information Systems for the Department of Science and Technology in 1988. Prior to that, he had 10 years experience working in the private sector, as President of Custom Computing Systems, Saskatchewan’s first retail storefront selling personal computers, and then as Manager of Information Systems at Develcon Electronics, a Saskatoon-based manufacturer of computer communications equipment.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Theoretical Computing and is a life-long resident of Saskatchewan. He is also a member of the Boards of Directors for both the Canadian Light Source (CLS) and the Saskatchewan Advanced Technology Association (SATA).
A robust and accessible high-bandwidth infrastructure spanning Saskatchewan , that supports the research and innovation enterprise of Saskatchewan by enabling proof of concepts, testing of ideas and the development and assessment of new applications and products.
Cyril (Cy) Scheske BIO

Cyril (Cy) Scheske has been on contract as the President of SRnet since November 2003.
He has held numerous executive positions in the private and public sector, and has extensive experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry provincially and internationally.
In the past decade he has been an independent consultant, taking on a range of contracts from the private sector, first nations, and government. His projects ranged from developing a First Nations wind power project to the key study which led to the development of the Canada-Saskatchewan sound stage in Regina.
In former executive positions he has designed, built, and managed three diverse organizations including: the Business Development Division and the International Division of CDSL (now CGI), the International Division of Saskatchewan Health, and was one of the founders and developers of the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership.
Cy lives in Regina with his wife Cheryl and has two adult daughters.
